Default hole to the right of the lisence plate
im just wondering what the hole between the lisence plate and the lisence plate light is, its to the right of the lisence plate...its a 2001 SLE Jimmy

The hole is for your tire iron, you need to insert the tire iron in there to lower your spare tire from underneath the Jimmy by tuning the tube in the hole.

You got it if you have a 2 door with a Spare tire carrier, most people use the hole to run there trailer hitch wire harness if they have a hitch.
