Used to work at a speed shop in Cape Cod, MA and hit the drag strip on the weekends with the rest of the crew. After a few blown engines and transmissions. I learn the hard way, and I still keep learning the hard way LOL.

remember, fit it when it breaks. Not before, unless your planing to break it.
Feel free to ask any more questions if you not sure about something, I may have tried it, replaced it, or wrecked it LOL. Secret about the 4.3 if your going to supercharge it or turbo charge it, replace the head gasket and double it up. The heads have a higher torque then the 3.8 Buick Grand National and when you have a detonation, you end up with a connecting rod through the block or you loose the bottom end oppose to the Grand Nat's that would only end up having a blown head gasket which is the easier fix then rebuilding an engine LOL.
