ok now this is bull (sorry laura) but why would you have to " take it another dealer " to find the problem. i belive it up to GM to make sure the dealership has qualified techs. all dealers should be the same as far as tech training is concorned. now i worked at a GM dealer ship for 4 years (Hated it but thats another story) and i know not all techs are equal. but is up to GM to make sure there techs are Cerfired so we don't have to dealer shop. all should be the same!
As a former GM dealership employee, I’m sure you know that all dealerships are independently owned and operated. Therefore, the dealership owner is responsible for the hiring of its service advisors. We obviously have confidence in our service departments, which is why we recommend them on this forum. I apologize if you feel that you have not had exemplary treatment at a dealership, and I would be happy to document those comments if you’d like to private message me.
