Default tepm gauge 94 jimmy cpi digital dash

i put a new temperature sensor in and it had been working 4 3 months then it had built up pressure in the radiator hose and i immediately got the air out of there and then the gauge stopped working and now the hose isn't blocked the sensor is hooked up but still not working wandering if it is a problem with the digital dash, slt model
