Default Heater cord on 3500

We just bought a used 2018 3500 Denali. There's an open recall on the heater cord, so I'll take it to the dealer for the update. In the mean time, I can't find the heater cord. The owner's manual says it's under the hood on the driver's side, clipped to the side by the battery. I'm not coming up with it. Is it removable and therefore missing? The block heater is on the build sheet.
Thanks, looking forward to the forum.
