Default Cylinder misfire

Hello all, a little back ground on the truck. Cylinder 6 misfire. Replaced that coil, replaced all plug wires, replaced all plugs. Ran great, then two days ago. DTC CODE cylinder 6 misfire. What is the cause of a coil thatís 8 months old going out. Could it be that my injector for that cylinder is bad? Also, would an injector service remedy the problem?

I doubt injector service would fix it. I would swap the coil to a different cylinder and see if it stays on number 6 or moves to 4 or watever one you switch with... Napa for instance has two different lines of coils, I think Echlin is the better of the two, cheap coils are cheap coils, they don't always last like you expect. May have warranty left from parts supplier?

Since you have replaced the obvious items, you may need to look in a different direction. If you are getting a P0300 and/or a P0306 code it indicates that the Crankshaft Position Reluctor Wheel Learn procedure may need to be performed, a damaged reluctor wheel, a misfire caused by a vibration, damaged accessory drive component or belt or contaminated fuel.
