Default 2000 Jimmy front right hydraulic brake line replacement

In working on the brakes, we need to replace the front right hydraulic brake line.
It's metal, has a sharp curve and a corkscrew in the design.
We've ordered a line from 3 different places, and the design looks correct, but the diameter of the connectors and the diameter of the line is bigger. Won't fit, wrong part. Took it to the local dealer, he helped me look it up and said that it was actually a different brake line for the rear(?).
We cannot find this at the dealer, ebay, online stores, it's a discontinued part.

Ive noticed that there are some aftermarket lines that say they are for this part. They seem to have the right connectors, but have rubber hose in the middle. Is this the answer? If anyone knows, thanks!

The rubber on the line might take up the flex of the original metal coil line. Other than that, mechanics have been making their own fuel lines and brake lines for decades. I am guessing you kept your old one so you or someone can build another if all else fails. Just be sure to check THOUROUGHLY for leaks before road-testing.
