Default Solved: Getting the right parts

I ordered a cv axle from Rock Auto. I got what I ordered but it would not fit. Too long. My fault. I read something about using a list of codes on a sticker that is in the glove compartment. Can anyone explain how I'm supposed to use the codes when I'm ordering parts. Thx.

I found a list of option codes and descriptions at the following url.
