Default 2015 Yukon Denali gas mileage

Anyone have actual real world gas mileage for the 2015 Yukon Denali XL 2 wheel driven and does it run OK on regular gas?

hi. just got my 2015 Denali Thurs. After n3 days of mixed driving I note following:

The "V-4" mode dash indicator (when you are using the dash display configuration that shows "miles to empty" and "Mode" of V-8 or V-4) stays on V-4 mode MUCH more often and at higher speeds (67mph!) than my 2011 Denali ever did!! Feeling excited I confirmed its easy to get 24MPG on cruise with regular gas. I do NOT have the XL model, but the standard wheelbase.

Has tons of power w the tank of reg gas the Dealer gave me. I will try a tank of mid grade (89 or 90) soon.

love the truck!

UPDATE! Wanted to try E-85 gas but the 6.2 L in Denali wont drink it well. So I finished testing with reg 87 gas and 89 octane. No real diff seen. But:

In Cruise Control, I observed from onboard computer:

60MPH.......25 MPG!!
63MPH.......24 MPG
67MPH.......22.5 MPG

** NOTE Only achieved this when inflating all tires 2 PSI higher than factory recco on driver door sticker! NO RIDE difference noticed.

Following factory recco inflation got 1-2 MPG LESS!! Amazing.......

Good luck!

Default 17 mpg in mixed use for 2015 Yukon Denali

I have 2K miles on a 2015 Yukon Denali 4WD that I run in 2WD on Arco/Costco 87 octane unleaded gas. In city driving I get 15 mpg, in mixed use I get 17mpg average. Only on long freeway drives does it get better gas mileage but mixed use is the real answer.

Default 2015 real gas mileage

I have 24K on my 2015 Yukon Denali and I get 13-15 mpg in mixed driving and 17 in highway at 75 mph. My gas mileage went down a little since being new but now is consistent.
