2001 sls abs and brakes light warning

i have problem when driving not every time but abs light(yellow) and parking
light(red)with this symbol (!) go on togetther and my brake run great what the problem thank and you have a great forum here
Start with the simple and check your brake fluid level.

Good chance that the ABS wire leads or the ABS sensor at the wheel hub is faulty. Check the ABS wire leads and clean the ABS sensor at the wheel hub which is located on the inner side of the wheel hub. Replace any damaged wire leads and ABS sensors, but try cleaning the sensor first with brake parts cleaner and if you can get to Auto Zone. Have them scan the Jimmy for any DTC codes that will indicate an issue with the ABS, hope it's not a ABS module going bad. Good luck and keep me posted on your findings, if there is no Auto Zone around your area. Most transmission shop will have a scanner also, but there will be a fee but should not be much.
