key fob issue

I have a 2019 GMC Yukon Denali that was reporting the battery needed to be changed and both key fobs. After replacing the battery in the first key fob with an old battery that had been sitting around the house for quite some time, the vehicle still reported the battery needed to be changed...

New to this page I have a 03 yukon xl and can seem to get any keyfob to program, I've done the relearn procedure many times with multiple keyfobs, any ideas as to what might be a solution? Thank you all in advance
