My envoy is shaking pretty bad every time it comes to a stop. I recently changed the sparkplugs and the gas filter and it is still doing it, i was told it could be the engine mount. If it was the engine mount how much could it cost to install it? And if it is not the engine mount what else could it be?
Please help. Thanks!!!

Clean the TB, make sure you get the back side. Particularly at the recessed or cut-out area. That's were the idle air comes in when the butterfly is just about completely closed. (I find it easier to remove the TB in order to clean it, than to try and use a rag or just spray it).

These engines with some bad weatherstripping has lead to numerous #4 coil failures but you would probably have a check engine light on for that. Make sure all plugs are firing and check to see if the Catalytic converter is still good and not restricted.

Under the Resources section there's a list of TSB Date: 06/01/2005. I found this but unfortunately I don't have access to the full text. Maybe someone on the forum does. I recall my dad's 03 developed an unstable idle. A pcm update fixed it but that was before the date of this TSB

Component Name: 061000 ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE
NHTSA #: 040604076
SUMMARY: INFORMATION ON UNSTABLE/ROUGH/LUMPY ENGINE IDLE, AND LOW SPEED VEHICLE SURGE, RANDOM DISTURBANCE OR VEHICLE SHUDDER. *TT

Good luck and hope this helps. :D
