Hello all, I am new to this site as well as my 2002 GMC Sonoma ZR5 4x4. I just bought it a week ago and think I may have some problems. I thought the truck was all good, but on eht way home from the dealer the check engine light comes on. I call them and they schedule a time to come back in. I go to autozone and they tell me the CEL is for low engine temp. I check the coolant and add a bit. Next 2-3 days the truck sits and didnt drive. The next day I see a spot under the engine that is wet on the ground. Looks to be coolant, but I couldnt make it out for sure. Next is that when I start the truck up and it idles, it drips out a lot of water and water vapor. I cannot tell if it is smoke or vapor. But there will be a puddle of water. I cannot tell if coolant is mixed as the water is clear and it is gone on the ground in a couple of hours. But I have never seen a truck/car pour out that much water. Any ideas? It is in the shop now and they said they cannot find a leak of any kind. They are going to change the Tstat. Hopefully its not a cracked or blown head gasket. Thanks.
