New guy here, I have an 03 gmc Sierra and when coming to a stop I can feel the pedal vibrate a little (about 5mph or less) the warning only came on one time and then disappeared and never reappeared. There are no lights lit up on the dash but I had it scanned and came up with three, C0226, C0269, C0291. Anybody think its just one thing causing all three or more than one?

I an not certain about the codes. I had a similar brake problem with my 03 2500HD with only 75,000 miles, but my brakes pulsated pretty bad. Truck actually went ahead about 5 feet further than I wanted. It turned out to be the ABS sensors were bad and were setting off my ABS brakes around 4-8 mph (which I was told is a GMC/Chevy common problem.) To test it, I pulled the fuse for the ABS brakes and everything was fine for stopping, no pulsating. However, when the fuse is pulled the brake lights stay on and the warning beeper will ding about 20 times every time you start the truck, and your cruise will not work either. Dealership said it was either the ABS sensors or even a bad wheel bearing cause enough play to set off the sensor. They tested the sensors and found that one was bad, replaced it, everything has been good since. $130 for the cleaning process of the sensors, and $54 for the new sensor that had to be replaced.

Ok thanks a lot, sounds like a good place to start. Mine is a 1500 hd and has 72000 on it. And, it just pulsates at a stop doesn't go any further than I want. That would give me the pucker factor. I think I'll go get a sensor and have my mechanic put it in. I really appreciate the info, thanks again.
