I have a 2003 GMC Envoy and my brakes are squeaking. I took it in to les Schwab and they said everything is fine, nothing is wrong with my breaks... I also took it to a GM dealership and they said the same thing. HOWEVER I can’t believe that nothing is wrong with my break system.
When the brakes are cold they do not squeak but when they are warm they do... when the brakes are hot the only way to get them to stop squeaking is to step on the break while driving. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I know this can’t be right.
The squeaking does not go away once its warm unless the brake peddle is pushed.
****REMINDER***it only squeaks when the breaks/roters are warm...
the ONLY way to get the squeaking to stop is to apply pressure to the break.
