Hello, I am gonna describe this the best I can so bare with me....Ok sometimes when i go to start my truck...the neutral light on the 4wd dash panel is red:
I push on 2WD high and all she does is flash?...but when I go into neutral in the gear selector , the 2wd stops flashing and everything seems normal..
there is nothing else on the dash board on as far as "service" lights go???
I did some research online and found it might be the "transfer case control module" ???
ok if it is this...is this a dealer only part or can i get one at a "pep boys"?and how much am i looking at?
also I read some where it might be stuck "in sleep" mode....they said disconnect the battery for a few minutes ,reconnect and you mi9ght be able to get away with this for a while???
can I use the truck like this or I am risking damage?
