It started out this weekend, my passenger control would go out then randomly work again so I thought it was just a loose connection or a short. Then tonight I turn on some music, my Bose is still as loud as always but no bass whatsoever, also now the headlights flicker (faintly), almost have to stare to notice it, and the biggest thing is when the anti lock brakes come on (I drive on snow) every dash lights comes on, then goes off along with the DIC center lights. Its almost like it dies but it doesnt and I can keep on driving. I can bring it in as I have a 6 month warranty on my used vehicle, except the dealership is 500 miles away round trip so I was wondering if this is something simple? Any help is greatly appreciated!

This does not sound simple - but I'll let someone else give you a better answer.. 500 miles away? Wow.. :(

Well I'm not sure about the lights resetting when anti lock when engaged because it only happened the one time, but I think my problem got a lot simpler, but I'm not sure. I realized I had much less bass because the front right speaker isnt on. So now here is my problem....Nothing on the front right door works....window, heated seats, locks, mirror blinker or speaker. I swapped the passenger and driver control module fuses but they both worked fine on the driver door. So my question is, is that the correct fuse? I'm assuming not but I don't know which fuse it could be!

Also, I noticed there wasnt a horn chirp, guess why? The front right door doesnt lock with the button so it must not have power lol.

Electrical Problems

I'm not sure if we are experiencing the same basic problem but I too have had random electrical failures since I bought my 06 Envoy SLT. First, the radio just stopped working one day so I turned it off then back on about 30 min later and it has worked ever since. Then, the A/C clutch would not engage. Too hot to drive so I used my son's car for a day then it started cooling again and hasn't failed again. Only had this car for 2 months and I really like it. Now I know why they wanted to sell such a nice, low mileage car.

Fortunately, my B-I-L is the GM automotive instructor so he connected the Tech2 scanner and discovered there had been a loss of communication with the network in several modules: HVAC, entertainment(?), door and rear hatch I think. Unfortunately, he can't find it until it malfunctions again.

So my question is, has anyone found and repaired a problem in one of the modules. I suspect the BCM but he won't speculate without more data.

Not sure if this should have been a new thread. I look forward to hearing some stories. Thanks for your interest.
