When my friend parks his truck, after an hour the rear air suspension leaks and the truck rear is all the way down. When he starts the truck up the rear fills up and it sits leveled w/ the front. While driving the truck it stays level. As soon as the car is parked and sits for an hour and the rear bags just deflate. He took it to a mechanic to get it recaibrated and nothing was wrong w/ it. And he said there was no leak in the bags. What could be the issue besides using a mechanic saying there is nothing wrong lol Thanks in advance!

Go to the Dollar store and buy a spray bottle and dish washing soap. Make a mixture of 50/50 water and soap and spray your air bags, air lines, anywhere that the air needs to fill up your air bags.

Any sighs of bubble from the solution sprayed on to your air system is where you have your air leaks. Yes its a PITA but its the best way i found to find air leaks in a air ride system like in my tour bus. ;)

Good luck and keep us posted.

Hello bansheelos,

I apologize that your friend is experiencing a concern with his Envoy. I see that you have gotten some great advice from Molson02536. Is your friend planning on taking his vehicle to a GMC dealership? If he is, and would like any assistance working with the dealership to look into this situation, please feel free to pass along my email to him. He can reach out to me at socialmedia@gm.com with “ATTN GREG” in the subject line if he would like to further discuss his concern. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my post.
