Hello again all. I'm still on the hunt for a new truck...finally sold my Colorado but I still need something to pull my horse trailer. I found this 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 online that I like, but it has almost 140,000 miles on it. Should this be of any concern? It has only had 1 owner previously and it looks to be in great condition otherwise.

140,000 miles is not a deal breaker for me. If I find a vehicle I really like, I would not be concerned about any miles under 200k. 180k and under is usually my comfort zone, however. If everything else is good on the vehicle, then it might just be "broken in". Maintain it regularly, and it will make it to 500,000+ miles. Afterall, it IS a GMC.

I just bought a 2005 Sierra 1500 SLT 4X4 with 127,000 on it all I have done is change all fluids on it so I know what I have. Now days 140,000 is nothing to worry about if it sounds good and looks good and looks like it was taken care of, you should be fine for many more miles. Drive it and be happy. Only difference with that one and a new one is new one has warranty,,, but even new ones break down. GMC is a great truck.
