My question is applicable to ... 1973-1991 GMC Jimmy Carburetor Accelerator Cable Mounting Bracket Hold Down Screws/Bolts...
I have a 1984 GMC Jimmy with a 350/5.7 Engine... in the nearly useless Chilton and Haynes Manuals there is not one single parts itemization diagram or what have you... that tells one what size any fasteners are...
My current dilemma is the bracket that holds the accelerator cable to the carburetor and bolts down in 3 places (it appears) to the intake manifold and the back of one of the cylinder heads... has only one screw/bolt and there appears to be 3 different sized screws/bolts required...
I have been unable to figure out what size screws/bolts I need to hold this bracket down correctly...
So... can anybody tell me what size they are ... thread pitch, length, etc., and or point me to some resource that can?
engines do not stay in wrecking yards around here for long, so I have not been able to find anything going that route either...
thanks in advance.
