My Jimmy sat for about 6 years, then recently, I replaced the fuel tank, sending unit, fuel filter,O2 sensor, radiator & the 3 window motors. Started it up and things looked pretty good...until I bought an OBD1&2 scanner
... Now I have Diagnostic Trouble Codes: 31-CAM sensor, 32-Electronic vacuum regulator valve error, 33-Map sensor-signal voltage is high during ignition idle (Note: Engine misfire or unstable idle may cause this code). 34-Map sensor- signal voltage is low during ignition on. 43- Electronic spark control-circuit problems. Or, Electronic Spark timing circuit-low voltage detected. 51- computer problem; faulty, wrong or incorrectly installed PROM circuit; or ECM/PCM failure. 52- Calibration Package Chip or ECM fault or oil temperture sensor fault/low engine temp (Corvette) not applicable here. System voltage high for a long period of time. 54- Fuel pump circuit fault or Mixture Control solenoid fault or Electronic Control Module fault/ EGR solenoid #2 failure(3.8L VIN1) 55- ECM fault or oxygen sensor circuit fault or EGR solenoid!!!!!! Is this really happening? It runs so good too! Where do I even begin to try & correct these codes? Oh, and all these codes are on the scanner without the Check Engine Light on! I'd love to restore my Jimmy back to health, I can replace stuff but tracking down problems is not my forte! Do I just start replacing sensors? Would they have gone bad while sitting in the driveway for 6 years? , I'm not sure where to begin to fix what ails her! Also not sure if I should continue or just junk her & get something else. I'd hate to do that! Any help at all would be very, very much appreciated!!
