Hello, I currently have had my 91 350 5spd for 2 years now. Ran like a champ when i got it. few months went by and it started acting up a little bit like it was cutting fuel. A rear brake line blew out so i replaced it, and while i was underneath i replaced the fuel filter. Time went on it kept acting up. I then replaced the plugs, wires, and cap. Still the problem went on, I've changed out two different throttle bodies and injectors thinking that would narrow it down a bit. Still hasn't and has gotten worse. I've turned up the idle to keep the truck running, cause at low idle it would shut off. Now the trucks to the point where it seems to flood it self out. the idle still drops real low with it turn up a bit to the point where you think the truck shut off, then there's points where you're at a stop light and have to rev the truck up some to it doesn't stall out. it has its days where it might run fine for a day, then its back to acting up. you could drive 15 miles and not act up, or i drive it around my block and it acts up. Trying to narrows or find this problem. i made a video so you can hear it run while driving. If anyone knows/or had this problem and fixed it let me know.

I've had a similar problem with two fuel injected trucks . The engines seemed to have an occasional fuel delivery stumble when they were called on to deliver power at off-idle conditions. I never did track down the cause with any certainty, but since I started using a fuel system cleaner additive in my gasoline, the problem hasn't returned. I use Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner twice a year . There are plenty of such additives on the market , but they don't all perform the same. I used to be in the additives development business , and Chevron products were always top notch .
(They worked better than our own brand ; I can say that now that I'm retired!)

It sounds like your EGV valve is sticking or the vacuum line to the EGR is cracked or collapsing and you'll need to replace it...

Start with that and post back.
