Hello! I have a 1992 Suburban, and for a long time the Heater Control Unit would work on and off! Usually off! So we bought another one, and my mechanic exchanged it, and the new one wouldn't work either! So he cleaned off the connections on my old one and put it back in and VOILA! Heat! The lights were on and power etc! I drove it home, parked it and then went into the house, came out and VOILA! No heat or lights on the unit! I asked abut this on another forum and the person told me to tell my mechanic to check the Acuator Motor for proper operation, my mechanic hasn't heard of that! Do you guys agree with the other forum OR do you have your own ideas? Thankyou for your help! We are in a bind, because right now it is warmish out, but the cold will come back quickly!
