1993 Z71 Tranny Problem

okay guys i need your help. my pickup has been acting up lately,
its shifts okay from first to second then the rpms get pretty high then just revs with no go... fluid level is okay automatic tranny...could this be a dirty filter or has someone had this happen before?

well if it was a drity filter then you would have no gears.
A filter does not know what gear your in. Some times a speed sensor will caues this. If not then Sorry but time for a rebuild or a new trans or a used one.

just make sure the rear speed sensor in the tranfercase is good before you replace the trans. May i suggest a factory reman? a little more money but a much better waranty and LOT better quality parts.
