1994 GMC JIMMY wont take off?

i have a 94 gmc jimmy i changed my fuel pump, i changed my fuel injectors..but it keeps doing the same thing...it will start up like nothing (sometimes) when am driving it will work but when i step on the gas to take off from a stop sign or a red light it stalls then shuts down...the only way it wont shut down is when i step on it an it stalls i let go of the gas pedal... i have been told it may be an electrical problem...because my check engine light doesn't turn on....ANY HELP!!!!!

I would check the timing on the Jimmy. I would also check to see what king of timing advance it uses. Some vehicles use a vacuum advance for the distributor, and if this is not working it will cause the exact symptoms you are describing.
This will also cause poor acceleration. Start with your timing, check your plugs, and hope you don't need a new ECU...
