Hi everybody,
I just bought a used 1994 GMC Sierra 1500 with 248000 miles, engine 350 with automatic transmission.
I didn't notice anything until after I bought it (of course!). But the tranny whines a little when accelerating. Once you reach cruising speed the whine goes away or is at least low enough that I can't hear it. It shifts hard when going from first to second. If I accelerate slowly its not as bad. The higher gears not as bad.
Should I change the trans fluid and flush it, or just drop a bottle of lucas in it or some other product?
Thanks
