1995 Jimmy front wheel thumping sound

The passenger side front wheel of my 1995 Jimmy 4wd is making a sound like the wheel is terribly out of balance. It is an intermittent thump that increases in frequency with speed. I rotated the tires and it didn't change anything. Any ideas?
