Have a 96 1500 4X4.
Got it back in November and was doing fine till a couple months ago.
New issues I have are:
Vibration: In 4X4 seems to be just when idleing down. After it gets past the idle down it stops till I hit the gas again, then stops when accelerating.
In 2WD it was constant, keep it in 4WD as it seems to be easier to deal with.
Clunking: At low (below 10 km/h) speeds, slowing or speeding up. Sounds almost like a jackhammer. I believe it is coming from front end.
Any ideas on what I should start with.
I also have a 95 1500 donor truck for parts if they are able to be interchanged.
Anyone know if that is possible?
