I Have a 96 sierra 4x4, I put a brand new engine in it all of the electrical stuff on the engine is new, every thing under the hood is new every thing its all been replaced and re replaced. It don't want to run right at all it miss fires badly. So just for the heck of it I went to a junk yard and got another computer and put it in the truck and low and behold the truck ran like a new one, no miss firing or nothing, man I was a happy camper. The next day I was going to show it off to a buddy. And guess what? The stupid thing went back to miss firing and running like crap AGAIN. So my question is, is there something that would cause the computer to go bad, if so what, and how do I fix it? I have over $5000.00 just in the motor and other parts. And I need to get it fixed. Can some one PLEASE help.
