1997 gmc suburban slt model 5.7 vortech 4x4 problem

Ok I just had the trans done. And I also replaced the drive shaft that goes to the four wheel drive also cause it was bad. And I also replaced the sensors and shifter and switch but it still blinks when I engage it saying that it missed the shift into 4 wheel drive! What else could I do to fix the problem??? Any help would be great in this problem!!
