Hi, I have 1997 sierra Diesel and the blower motor is starting to squeal. I purchased a new blower motor and went to change it. There is a rubber membrane that covers the motor and sepreates it from all the wiring and aluminum box above it. THis makes it imposible to get it out. I could not figure out how to remove this piece or rubber. I have looked at a bunch of different 'how to' sights and none of them mention this rubber cover. They just say to pull out the old motor and put in the new; easy peasy.
