I have a used GMC Jimmy 1998 and lost the old key fob the previous owner had given me. I just bought a new one and cannot get it to synchronize/reprogram. I tried the instructions in the manual, other instructions on the internet - 2 different types and nothing. Apparently I cannot get the locks to cycle through to the programming cycle. I've done everything each and every one of the instructions and still nothing. If anyone has any information or advice I'd appreciate it. I have even changed the battery in the new fob I bought, still nothing.
