I'm looking to build my 5.7L Vortec V8 (166,000KM/ 104,000MILES), I'm wanting to get 4-500HP out of it. But I don't want to switch the injection system to a carb as lots of people have told me to do. I am going to put a turbo on it as well.

I am looking for input on parts to buy for it, specs for things such as cam lobe sizes, valves etc to get as much power as I can. I currently have a cold air intake, full length headers and true dual exhaust. I also have a performance 25% over oil pump.

I want to spend absolutely no more than $5000 on parts. I am doing all the work myself. Just not sure where to start for the performance parts. My brother is fabbing up the turbo system so that is covered.

Cam? Pistons? Overbore? Valves? Valve Springs? Head porting? Throttle body? Fuel pump? Distributor? Spark plugs/leads?

All input is welcome and much appreciated. I'd love to be able to pull 500HP out of this truck.
