Can someone tell me what the 90 degree rubber tube is directly to the left of my heater core lines in this picture?

When I got home from a 3 hour drive last night water was leaking from this tube. I did not run the air conditioning at all and the radiator was still pretty much full. truck was not running hot at all the whole trip?
