does anyone know how the mechanism in the outside door handle works in a 1998 gmc sonoma?
Someone punched in the lock, now the door handle won't open from the outside. Will it work without the lock? Thanks
It should be able to work without the lock. Best thing to do is take the door panel off and look at all the internals to make sure nothing else got damaged. If something is wrong, you should be able to see it.
