hi all.
I have a 98 suburban that randomly will smoke and pop from under the engine on the drivers side. It does it so randomly that the check engine light will go off and on. the last time it came on, was about 3 weeks ago. i went to get the code read and it went off and hasn't been on since.
the first time it started was about 2 months ago and it was right after i put some bad gas in it.
could it be a catalytic converter????
