Im Wyatt and im new to the site. I have a few questions involving tire sizes and the decrease in mpg itll cause.
Bone stock 1998 K1500 4x4 with 5.7L and a 3.73 rear end. Came stock with 245/75/16 and ive already stepped up a size to 265/75/16 and saw a slight decrease in gas mileage. Obviously driving a truck im not looking to get outstanding gas mileage. Right now when i last checked i was getting about 14 to 14.5 mpg. <- a lot better than this winter at about 12-12.5 (truck doesnt like the cold for some reason. live in TN)

My main question is that Id like to step up again a size to a 285/75/16. What kind of gas mileage are others getting running this set up or something similar? Any information is helpful.
Im looking at getting the Yokahama Geolandars AT/S so also any opinions on those would be great too.
