1998 k1500 relay cycling under dash?

I recently purchased a used 98 and on the second day, I was driving to work and niticed a relay cycling under the dash....sounds just like the turn signal. Does anyone have any clue what or why? lights and signals are normal, hazards fine. wipers work.

Good luck with that... I have a 99 and it clicks damn near all winter, but it is fine in the summer. I can some times make it come on by slightly twisting, raising and lowering the turnsignal. The problem is some times I get it to start and it won't stop for minutes... DRIVES ME NUTS!!! I believe it to be in the steering column but I don't have the time or money to deal with it. I just turn the radio up. I can tell you also the relay they sell at my local store does not click in place (it just falls out). The dealer wanted like 50 bucks for the flasher so I didn't bother spending the money and it might not even be the problem.
