1999 GMC Jimmy Heat Issues?

hello all

i have a problem with my 99 Jimmy, i have no heat right now, i had the heater core flushed yesterday around Noon time and had blazing heat for the rest of the after noon, i got home and the truck was sitting for 2 hrs, went for a 2 hrs drive and had no heat again. and came back let it sit over night got in and drove to work and had heat again, now the temp gauge is always around 75 - 80 even after after 2 hrs of driving, this is driving me nuts. anyone have any ideas.

seems like i have heat in the day time and none at night. crazy stuff eh

how can i tell u are a fellow canadian lol anyways i have a 97 jimmy and had some what the same problem.. make sure that you replace the thermostat to be safe and make sure that you keep your coolant topped up.... it is also possible that the heater core needs to be replaced.... there is also a possibility of a large bunch of crap in the system its self
