hi i have a 1999 gmc sonoma pickup i recently bought, and for some reason the interior fan blower motor wires have been cut. can anyone point me in the right direction to find a schematic or have any experience? the colors off of the motor are a brownish purple and black, purple is hot. but the purple is spliced into an orange coming from the switch and all i get is High, no medium or low. thanks!

For someone to do that, your blower motor resistor motor has gone bad or the switch it self. Most likely it's going to be the blower resistor and the wire harness. You can buy the resistor at Auto Zone and the wire harness too since chances are they are cooked.

They will also have the step by step instructions for you to replace the resistor. :D

Post back if you need more information;)

Alldatadiy.com for the schematic. Its like 27 bucks per car, but is the best you'll find around short of the real alldata.
