I had posted a similar question back in 2010, when I bought this vehicle, but I have done a lot of work and narrowed the problem and also replaced a TON of stuff in the vehicle. Anyway, here's the problem (1999 GMC Sonoma 4.3L SLS):
Randomly, the vehicle will not start. It turns over and actually fires up for a second, but then dies. If I wait between 20 minutes and 2 days it will start again and be fine for some time and then randomly do it again. It just did it now after 53 days of not doing it (I'm a kook and have been keeping track).
I have replaced: fuel pump relays, ignition key lock cylinder, gas tank and fuel pump... what am I missing?
Thanks to everyone who can help me solve this mystery.
