hey guys, i recently put my 1999 gmc suburban 1500 5.7 push button 4x4 into 4 wheel drive and was having problems putting it back into 2 wd then the lights went out on the 4x4 button i found a blowen transfer case fuse when i tried to put another fuse in it blew right away and then i tried another and it blew right away as well any suggestions would b appreciated thanks guys -stevie

try unhooking the harnes from the transfer case and put in a new fuse if it blows the fuse with the transfer case unhooked then the wires are shorting out in the harness. if it doesn't blow the fuse then the transfer case motor is fried and drawing too much current to switch it back. hope this helps
