2-Way Advanced Remote Start

I am buy a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500. It's a 5.3 4WD SB. I wanted to get the 2-Way Advanced Remote Start but everwhere I look I am finding that if I have the rear window defogger I can't have the advanced start. Does anyone know if this is a fact?

Food for thought, all the new GM cars come with a remote start wired in already. You MUST buy the GM remote start kit #17801236 which includes 2 new key remotes AND THE GM CODE NUMBER to enable the Tech 2 to make it work on your truck that already has the RPO AP-8 code.

Not to mention the dealer will have to INSTALL (by hooking it up to the Tech 2) it also at a extra charge !

Just buying 2 remote start key fobs off Fleabay won't get you remote start enabled !

The dealer just needs to buy the Starter kit or you can which is the program to activate it and the new remotes. No worries of cutting in to your new Sierra'e wiring wiring system.

my truck already has the remote start with power door unlock. It's an SLE fully loaded.....almost!!!
