Most likely your fuel pump is bad and will need to be replaced. You should have 62-65 PSI of fuel at the shredder valve, anything less and your fuel injector will not work. What ever you do, DO NOT PUT GAS DON THE THROTTLE BODY. If you ending with a upper intake fire or backfire from starter fluid, good chance your going to have to replace your fuel injector system.

You use Carb cleaner to see if you can get your engine to run till the carb cleaner runs out. The Carb cleaner is less volatile then starter fluid and keep your upper intake from exploding from a backfire.

Once you have determined that you do not have enough fuel pressure, inspect the ground wire to your fuel sending unit. Common for the ground wire to corrode off the frame and cause your fuel pump to be weak. If that is good, then go ahead and replace the sending unit and wire harness too for insurance that you'll not have any issues related to a broken fuel sending unit wire harness.

Good luck and be safe, keep us posted. ;)
