I can't seem to get any straight answers what HID kits will work with my Jimmy so that it'll have high and low. Some people said it has two bulbs per headlight one for high and one low. Can you guys post some compatible HID kits??

Thanks

GM made it so when you turn your high beams on, the low beams turned off, so if you do HIDs in the lows and highs, just let it be known that if you try to flash someone it wont be very effective. There is something called the 4-high kit that allows all four beams to be on when you turn your highs on.

As for HIDs, the low beams are the 9006 bulb, and the highs are the 9005 bulb size.

Hope this helped! This was my very first post on here. :)

Do you have any links of compatible kits for my truck? It'd be appreciated.

There's a link for some VVME 9006 HID kits. You choose color temp, etc... I would strongly advise AGAINST getting cheap ebay ones especially from the brand Xentec... I have ordered two different conversion kits that are Xentec brand and both have been shipped to my door with broken ballasts and they always flicker or they've sent the wrong color temp.

If you'd like to check out or learn more about HID lights visit vvme.com... they sell good quality kits.

I have a 2000 gmc jimmy SLT 4x4 and I got a set of 6k white 55watts HID's from didn't ddmtunning.com, it was affordable and very bright. NOTE: you might have to flip some off the connectors if it doesn't work first time then if they work turn car on if one of your lights doesn't turn on hit the dome override till it dings then do it again till it dings and your headlights should both turn on its gmc wiring doesn't like aftermarket parts. But both my mine work now for about 5 months an going.
