For past few weeks the.check engine light would come.on, stay on. The fuel gauge would read full when really almost empty, the battary light would come on and off, and headlights would dim or flicker, tonight it acted like it was starving for fuel, when at a light it would stalll then die, start back up and do it again when idling, it acts like its jumped timing or misfiring. It has 110,000 miles, standard tranny, is it the fuel pump? Possesed? It has always ran excellent and this is the first time its hadbissues.

Check your voltage at the battery twice. First before you start the truck, second after you start it. You should see approx 12vDC before you start it and 13-14.75vDC after its started.

If your voltage is low when running it will act up like you're saying.

Seems I read a similar post not long ago , turned out the bearing on the alternator
was trying to seize up.
