I have a 2000 Jimmy that won't turn over when the weather is nice out (about 40+ degrees out) but will work just fine when it's freezing out (it's 5 degrees in chicago right now and it turned over like a champ!). I heard of problems when it's cold but not when it's warm....help???

Start with the simple and take a fuel pressure reading at the shredder valve. Your fuel pump maybe going bad and may need to be replaced being that in the cold, your fuel sending unit internal parts are contracted and the pump is giving you good pressure.

When its warm out side, your fuel sending unit is expanded and the internal parts such as the pump it self is warn and can not make the 62 PSI of fuel pressure to get the engine started.

Good luck and keep us posted.
