2000 Sonoma 4WD 4.3L
Ive tried AutoZone and oreillys they sold me the wrong part twice. after that They showed me a pinion seal from a sierra and it was almost identical but it was too long in one section with the engineering not allowing me to modify. im not even sure if its a pinion seal im looking for, just going off what people have told me. losing gear oil like crazy. leaking from the driveshaft to the differential(?)

hope ya can help.

The best thing to do is to go to the GM Dealer Parts with your Vin number and from there they can look up which Seal your Sonoma came with.

Thats the good news, the bad news is that GM came with up to 5 different sizes for the seal and also the U joints so best to get the right Part number from the dealer and you can go to a 3 party parts place like Autozone and they can cross reference the GM part number for your Sonoma. :D

Good luck and keep us posted
