I brought my car to Firestone to get my alignment done. They said they couldn't before I replaced my upper control arms and some other parts. I forgot exactly what they said so I took it back to them to try again and get the report of what to fix. The second time they didn't say anything about the control arms, but this time they said I need a new steering box, and one ball joint replaced. They said I have "a lot of play in the steering box", how can I tell if I need to replace it?
