like i said before on my other post i recently bought a 2000 gmc sierra and have noticed that going around 40 to 45 mph the engine kind of flutters is the best i can describe it. the rpms will go from 1200 to 1300, 1400. i went to the auto parts store to get a gas tank strap and explained to them what was happening and the guy there said that it sounds like the transmission is trying to shift to overdrive. But when i try to accelerate around 45 mph its like the engine bogs down then i have to almost floor it to even accelerate. Any ideas on why this happening?
